Top Highlights of Istanbul in 1 Day

This full-day tour is the classic Istanbul sampler, threading the city's five signature sights into roughly seven hours with a licensed guide and door-to-door minibus transport.
The day takes in the Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets and blue Iznik tiles, and the open-air Hippodrome, where an Egyptian obelisk and the bronze Serpentine Column from Delphi still stand. From there you continue to Hagia Sophia and the sprawling Topkapi Palace, the former home of the Ottoman court (swapped for the Basilica Cistern on Tuesdays when the palace is closed).
The route finishes in the Grand Bazaar, with its endless stalls of carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs. Hotel pickup, drop-off and local taxes are covered; entrance fees and lunch are arranged on the day.
